April 24, 2018 ~ Aw, the signs of spring in Green Bay: the ice breaker in the bay and then the fair in Valmont Academy’s gym!
Valmont’s big spring fair has become a yearly event and the school council also held a fair last fall.
Valmont Academy’s Spring Fair will take place this Saturday, April 28th, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. New to this fair are portrait drawings, embroidered items, shellac nails, etched glass and… pepperoni!

Members of the Harry’s Harbour and Jackson’s Cove ‘Come Home Year 2018’ team will be set up at the fair. They’ll have tickets on a series of prize draws. Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the area’s new volunteer fire department. The draws will take place this summer. Up for grabs are a boom truck of wood, an ATV, cash (50/50) and an asphalt driveway. (Slipping a ticket into a mother’s day card is a pretty good idea.)
Another table will be set up at Valmont’s fair for a fundraiser for Ronald MacDonald House. Valmont’s grad class will also be set up. There will be the crafts, knitted items, jewelry, clothes, make up and baked goods you expect. There will be woodwork items and dolls clothes. A photographer will also be set up with spring mini shoot options.
Valmont Academy is located on Main Street in King’s Point.
