The Town of South Brook has posted on social media that it is currently looking for a temporary part-time office assistant.
From the social media post:
“The Temporary Part-Time Office Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the Town Clerk, Committees and Council. This successful applicant is responsible for ongoing maintenance of Committee books, filing, assisting with ongoing projects, typing, answering the telephone, responding to routine inquires, and other related clerical duties on the direction of the Town Clerk and Council.
– GED or equivalent to Grade 12.
– Accounting/Computer software
– Working with the Public
– Familiar with WordPerfect & Microsoft Office
– A satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authority may be required.”
