Beachside, Newfoundland and Labrador, is a very pretty little community by the sea with a great vibe. It is one of a few local communities in which you could have a view of the Atlantic Ocean, not of a bay, from your living room window.
Tucked away at the end of a side road, Backcove Road, is a stunning set of cliffs. You can take the stairs there and head down to the beach. These stairs have recently (2016) been rebuilt.
There are no stores or gas stations in Beachside. If you plan to take a visit there be sure to have all you need. It is about a 25 minute drive from Springdale.
