‘A Taste of Ireland’ Tickets Now on Sale

March 2, 2018 ~ The crowd that likes to cook in Harry’s Harbour are at it again.  The group pulled off a fantastic Valentine’s Dinner on February 10th as a fundraiser for the area’s upcoming Come Home Year.

They are planning a new event, a St. Patrick’s Day-styled evening of Irish inspired flavours.

A Taste of Ireland‘ will be a night of great food and dancing on Saturday, March 17th at the Harry’s Harbour Recreation Hall.

If you’re a ‘foodie’, appreciate a great meal, or are just longing for something different to dine on, you’ll want to take this event in.

Food will be at stations, buffet style for pick up. And it sounds pretty good. Here’s the extensive menu for ‘A Taste of Ireland‘.

Station 1: Irish Pub Food
Guinness Beef Sliders
Irish Nachos
Classic Rueben Dip with Pumpernickel Bread
Potato Skins

Station 2: Traditional Irish Favourites
Irish Chicken and Colcannon (mashed potato and cabbage)
Corn Beef Hash
Mini Shepard’s Pie
Irish Beef Stew with Soda Bread

Station 3: Irish Themed Deserts
Irish Chocolate Pots de Creme
Guinness, Whiskey and Irish Cream Cupcakes
Baileys Chocolate Mousse Cake
No Bake Mini Grasshopper Pies

Station 4: Green Beer Opportunity
This is a BYOB night. They will provide frosted beer mugs, $3 each, and the food colouring so that you can prepare your own green beer if you want to.

If you’re wondering if you should trust these people with your spuds, take a look at some of what they accomplished at their Valentine’s Dinner:

Fancy chocolates, dipped strawberries and more. The organizers of the fantastic Valentine’s Dinner in Harry’s Harbour will have a hard time outdoing themselves at their St. Patrick’s celebration

Only 65 tickets will be sold for the dinner, and they will be advance sold only. Their Valentine’s supper on February 10th sold out and likely this one will sell out as well. To ensure you have a seat at what is sure to be a evening of pretty awesome food, make a reservation and pay the fee by March 9th.

Tickets for the combo dinner/dance are $25 per person.
Tickets for the dance only are $15 per person.
Dance tickets only will be sold as per building capacity.

Doors for the dinner will open at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be available at 7:00 p.m. For those attending the dance only, it begins at 9:00 p.m.
