March 9, 2018 ~ Because of cases of respiratory illness, temporary visitation precautions have been put in place at the hospital in Grand Falls-Windsor.
To help keep the spread of influenza-like illness down, only one visitor at a time is permitted for each patient/resident.
As well, all visitors must be at least 14 years of age.
The visitor precautions do not apply to people visiting palliative care patients/residents.
It is still flu season and Central Health reminds all visitors to Central Health facilities to wash their hands after arriving and before leaving Central Health facilities.
