Salvation Army’s Christmas Toy Box in Springdale Ready for Donations

November 22, 2018 ~ The Salvation Army in Springdale has just announced that their ‘toy box’ is in place at the Thrift Store on Main Street in Springdale.

The ‘toy box’ is a convenient place for folks to drop off Christmas gifts for local children and teens. The Salvation Army then distributes the gifts locally to deserving families, to help make Christmas a bit brighter.

The church stated that toys, mittens, socks are needed for boys, girls and teenagers. They ask that gifts be wrapped or placed in gift bags. The appropriate age and whether it’s intended for a boy or girl should be marked on each gift.

The Salvation Army will be accepting toys up to and including December 17th.

The Thrift Store in Springdale is open Monday-Friday, 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.
