Roberts Arm Residents Again Asked to Cut Down on Water Use

Roberts Arm Residents Again Asked to Cut Down on Water Use

October 2, 2018 ~ Roberts Arm residents have been asked again to cut down on water use, specifically the use of water for “unnecessary things” such as washing vehicles and driveways.

The level of Roberts Arm’s water supply pond is low. Work was done on a dam this past summer and water levels ave not yet returned to normal.

A post to the Roberts Arm Facebook page states that water has been pumped from “one pond to another”.

Residents have been asked for cooperation to avoid an “emergency situation”.

Residents were told early in September that there was ban in place for any water use considered not “absolutely necessary”.

A conserve water advisory was put in place in August.
