The Department of Transportation and Works is warning motorists of heavy drifting and blowing snow causing zero visibility on Springdale Road and at Birchy Narrows.
Drivers are advised to stay off these areas “at this hour”.
On February 18th of this year a serious multiple vehicle accident took place at Birchy Narrows after blowing snow caused zero visibility and ‘wall of white’ conditions.
High winds and blowing snow are causing near zero visibility on Springdale Road and the TCH at Birchy Narrows. There is also heavy drifting in all areas especially Birchy Narrows. Motorists are advised to stay off these areas at this hour. #nltraffic
