‘Long Island Day’ has been declared for July 15th and the activities lineup has been posted at longislandnl.com. The celebrations are actually spread over four days and will include fireworks.
On Saturday, July 15th, there will be games for the kids, home-cooked food, and raffle draws. There will also be a beer tent, and an adult dance at the end of the day when the sun goes down.
The ferry will be an easy ‘Load & Go’ from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 15, making this the simplest and easiest time to get a taste of what everyone is saying about Long Island – that it is a pretty chill place.
