March 21, 2018 ~ The Newfoundland and Labrador Government today announced $10.6 million in Municipal Capital Works funding.
Under this funding, 48 NL communities will cost-share projects aimed at improving water/wastewater systems, roads, and community-oriented infrastructure.
Two Green Bay communities are listed among the 48. Little Bay and Robert’s Arm will each receive funding.
The Gov. says Little Bay will get $146,907 towards a Water System Pump Upgrades project. The community will contribute $16,323 towards the total project cost of $180,000.
Robert’s Arm will receive $53,050 for a Storm Water Infiltration Investigation. The project will cost $65,000 in total and Robert’s Arm will contribute $5,894 of that.
