How Uni. Students Can Benefit from Tutoring Valmont or Indian River High Students Right Now

May 10, 2018 ~ The Tutoring Work Experience Program (TWEP) can give post secondary students valuable work experience to add to their resumes as well as some money to add to their pockets.

Through the TWEP program, post-secondary students tutor high school students who are getting ready for year-end exams.

Tutors are paid the equivalent of minimum wage in the form of a tuition voucher plus a weekly stipend.

TWEP positions are currently available at Indian River High School and Valmont Academy and they are looking to fill these positions by early next week.

Interested post secondary students with science and math knowledge should contact Ms. Pelley at Indian River High School.

“Hey Post-secondary students! Are you interested in tutoring at IRHS or Valmont Academy under the Tutoring Work Experience (TWEP) tutor – helping students prepare for year-end exams? To start ASAP and finish the 3rd week of June. If you are interested and have decent math and science skills, contact Mrs. Pelley at Indian River High for more information about either of these positions.”
