1. Start your Saturday off with a great breakfast at the rec centre in Pilley’s Island. From 8am-12pm you can get a plate of the good stuff for just $6. The menu includes bacon, eggs, bologna, baked beans, toast, tea/coffee and juice.
2. King’s Point’s Valmont Academy is having its 1st Annual Craft & Trade Show from 10am-4pm. No admission charge and 38 vendor tables! Lunch is on from 11am: soup, hot dogs, cookies, pop, water, tea/coffee and more.
3. Finish off your day the old fashioned wholesome way: The Little Bay Fire Department is hosting a baked beans, toutons, and bologna supper. Tea & coffee will be served as well. It is at the St. Patrick’s Francis Mercer Community Centre from 4-6pm. The cost is $8 per plate and is pay ‘at the door’.
