The date for one of the biggest events in Green Bay has been announced.
Middle Arm’s annual SnoSlam races draws competitors and spectators to the town from across the province, 1500 or more when the weather is favourable.
The community has hosted races since the early 1990s but the event has grown in recent years.
The races are planned for Saturday, March 9th, and they will take place on ‘Salt Pond’ which is right alongside the community. The location is ideal, offering immediate nearby access to all the conveniences in the community.

By Sled: Middle Arm is accessible from the groomed snowmobile trails. Multiple reports say the view heading into the community is stunning. Find a map of Green Bay’s snowmobile trails here heading to Middle Arm from many points in Green Bay and on the Baie Verte Peninusula. (Pass required)
It is reportedly 45 kms to Middle Arm via Rattling Brook ridge route from the Esso Station in Springdale. Via the Full Trail route the trip is reportedly 72 kms.
