May 10, 2018 ~ Each year it’s one of the most pleasant ‘feel good’ fundraising events in Green Bay and it is coming up again in July.
On Saturday, July 14th, the 9th Annual Ride for Wishes will take a parade of ATVs straight through Springdale and on out to a cove for a picnic. The Ride is organized each year to support the work of the Children’s Wish Foundation.
This year money raised through the Ride in Springdale will go directly to granting a wish for a very cute and very tough tyke from King’s Point named Peyton.
The Ride for Wishes is very much ‘the more the merrier’. If you would like to join in, you can get a pledge sheet by calling Everett at 673 4116.
They will all be glad to see you there.
Riders will leave from Springdale Stadium at 10:00 am and will head down Main Street. From there they’ll carry on to Ward’s Harbour for a lunch together.
Riders should prepare for possible varying weather conditions and should bring their own tasty lunches. Make your lunch, make some friends, and make a little girl’s wish come true! That sounds like a great plan.
