2018 Regional Drama Fest. at Indian River High | Performance SCHEDULE

2018 Regional Drama Fest. at Indian River High | Performance SCHEDULE

*EDIT MARCH 22: The drama festival has been postponed, likely until later in April, due to a weather system moving into NL.*

Indian River High School in Springdale will soon be busy hosting a regional high school drama festival. The three day festival will be from March 22nd to March 24th, 2018.

Young drama groups are coming in from as far away as Gros Morne and Corner Brook.

Pasadena, Baie Verte and Deer Lake will be represented. Indian River will perform and King’s Point’s Valmont Academy will send its drama group.

The drama festival will also provide the young actors and techs a learning experience through workshops. They will get constructive feedback from adjudicators and awards will be handed out for good work — like outstanding performances and sound/lighting design.

It will add up to a great three days for a lot of teens.

A real treat for this area, the performances will be open to the public. There is no admission fees to any of the short shows so do take in some, or all, of the performances.

Go and show support to these students as they ‘hit the boards‘. But, of course… don’t cheer them on. 🙂

And, without further ado, here is the lineup of what is open to the public ~
